MasterChef Romania

First season of the Romanian reality television series MasterChef România began on 5 March 2013 and aired on PRO TV. The season was hosted by Răzvan Fodor. The judges are Sorin Bontea, Cătălin Scărlătescu and Florin Dumitrescu.

The third season s premiered on the 18th of March 2014 and ended on the 10th of June 2014. The winner was Jesica Zamfir who deafeated Irina Bucsa and Rares Calota in the finals. The prize money was the same as in the first 2 seasons.

The forth season brings a change in jury after the initial 3 chefs leaved. This season brings the rule of the green card where a member of the jury can save a favorite contestant from elimination.

Fifth season brings new rules. the golden apron is given to a contestant by each jury member and that will place that contestant in top 24. Each contestant that receives three positive jury decisions will skip the first boot-camp round.
