Yuka has a mild mental disability, but is blessed with an amazing artistic ability. She wins an award at an art competition after her cousin, Ryo, secretly signs her up. Yuka suddenly enters the limelight, but her mother is concerned about the interest of the press, who seem to be covering a disabled person out of mere curiosity. Ryo suggests that they should treat her as a normal person and let her participate in society. However, once the media invades her life, he finds it difficult to leave Yuka alone to fend for herself. Meanwhile, Toru, a freelance journalist, encounters Yuka and begins to do research on Yuka’s disability. Since he always tells Yuka the truth, Toru becomes an important person for her as they slowly build a rapport.
