Shawn Christensen

Biography

Shawn is an Academy Award-winning writer/director whose films have premiered at Sundance, SXSW and TIFF. He is the founder of Fuzzy Logic Pictures, the CEO of Criminal Content, and Executive Producer on the TV Series AMERICAN HOSTAGE (Amazon MGM+). He’s directed numerous award-winning Podcasts including BLACKOUT (Rami Malek), THE FOXES OF HYDESVILLE (Carey Mulligan), AMERICAN HOSTAGE (Jon Hamm), and HUNTED (Parker Posey). He was formerly the frontman of rock band Stellastarr*. In 2013, he won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for CURFEW, and the SXSW Audience Award for its feature-length adaptation BEFORE I DISAPPEAR (Emmy Rossum, Fatima Ptacek, Ron Perlman).
